CeBIT: Sandisk shows automatic SD backup adapter

Yesterday SanDisk announced their FlashBack Adapter. The device plugs into a laptop's ExpressCard slot and automatically backs up your data to an SD or SDHC memory card. The adapter is a product made for those tough moments... Some guy drops his coffee on your notebook, it slips out of your hands or it just crashes. The FlashDisk Adapter will then have all your data, since it runs a continuous back-up.

Restoring the lost data from your laptop is made easy with the FlashBack Adapter. By simply opening the application, logging in and selecting your encrypted files, you have saved individual files and maybe complete folders.

Booth D59 in Hall 26 showed many of SanDisk's products and we expect to have an interview on video today. Several managers will explain what they are going to do in the nearest future and make terms like SDHC easy for newbies.
