Here it is, another 24x burner. This time, HP is the manufacturer (or should I say Sony here?).
Some info on the drive:
-IDE interface -capable of 74 and 80 min CDRs -burning a full 80 min CDR takes about 4 minutes -buffer underrun prevention (what BU prevention technology is being uses isn't mentioned yet) |
Although HP is pretty wellknown and lots of peoples bought their burners in the past, I doubt how many CD Freaks will buy this drive.
As we know, HP + overburning = coaster so that ain't a pro for HP. Besides that their drives are priced pretty high. No good either .
But.... let's give HP a chance, maybe they produced a good drive that can burn SD2 protected games etc... who knows..? (maybe Compaq)....
I'll just wait for a review before I'll judge the drive...
