Media Identification & Testing - Kprobe - DVD media scanner
- SmartBurn - tool to identify/analyze media
Bitsetting: - Bitsetting Utility (booktype.exe) - makes +R discs more compatible with the Xbox/PS2 and set-top DVD players
- Auto Bitsetting Patcher (bs_auto.exe) - patches firmware so your drive always defaults to burning with DVD-ROM booktype
- Bitsetting Patcher (bs_hack.exe) - patches pre-US0J 812S firmware so you can bit set on a 812S
Region Free: - LtnRPC (Region Free Utility) - removes region restrictions from your drive
Firmware Flashing & Extraction: - FlashFix - firmware patching/unlocking program
- Mtkflash - DOS based firmware flashing/recovery program
- LtnFW (LiteOn Flash Tool) - Windows based firmware flashing program
- XFlash-X - extracts binary (.bin) files from executable (.exe) firmware

Performance Tweaks & Mods:
