A new waterproof USB pen drive from Kingston

Nowadays, USB pen drives are cheaper than in past months, and consequently more people buy these very useful devices.

Kingston Technology Company, Inc., the world's largest independent manufacturer of memory products, announced today a new product of the DataTraveler USB drives series:

Capable of withstanding harsh operating conditions, the new DataTraveler Secure features a revolutionary new waterproof titanium-coated stainless steel casing. Its waterproof rating conforms to the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) 60529 IPX8 standard to protect against water damage to depths of up to four feet.

As with other pen drives, software is included to encrypt files stored in the pen. Prices vary starting from £ 24 (€ 35 or $ 45 USD) for the 512MB model, up to £ 147 (€ 218 or $ 270 USD) for the 4GB model.
