Advanced Media Introduces Two New
White Inkjet Printable Discs
Diamond Bar, CA -- May 5, 2005 -- Advanced Media, Inc.,
manufacturer and marketer of the popular RIDATA brand of recordable CD and DVD media, electronic storage
products, and digital media accessories, has added two more inkjet printable
optical discs to its expanding lineup. The new products are a double-layer DVD+R
and a 52x CD-R. Both have a white inkjet-printable top surface and the 52X CD-R
prints right down to the hub. The new additions enhance the large offering of
printable storage media offered by Advanced Media.
"These two new, white
inkjet printable RIDATA discs give users even more choices in media that allow
vibrant, customized labels, that hold up very well under light exposure" stated
Harvey Liu, RITEK USA president. "The fact one is now a printable dual-layer
DVD+R and the other an exceptionally high-speed hub printable CD is further
indication our engineers are continually developing industry-leading products of
superior quality."
The RIDATA white inkjet printable disc line offers an
ideal surface to print crisp, colorful graphics or clear, easily readable text
on a variety of RIDATA recordable disc formats from high speed CD-R to the huge
storage capacity the double layer DVD+R offers. Recent tests have proven the
printing consistency of the RIDATA white inkjet printable surface and its
resistance to fading from light exposure or water damage. The company also
offers thermal printable discs.
The advanced, single-sided dual layer
(DL) DVD+R disc has an amazing 8.5GB of storage capacity, enough for up to four
hours of DVD-quality video, 16 hours of VHS-quality video, or over 120 hours of
MP3 audio. It is compatible with all current DVD video players and DVD-ROM
drives as well as new DVD+R DL drives. It is ideal for virtually any business or
household application.
A key advantage of the 2.4x dual layer disc's
configuration is convenience. It allows users to read, write, or view nearly
twice the amount of data than do single-layer, 4.7GB DVD discs without having to
flip sides or change discs. It offers the largest compatible DVD backup and data
archiving format for computer drives.
Passing multiple quality control
tests, the RIDATA 52X CD-R hub printable inkjet white optical disc is one of the
most reliable digital data storage media available. Users can create
professional looking CDs of their favorite data, video, or audio material. The
water-proof disc features 700 MB or 80 minutes worth of storage capacity;
excellent performance; and very low block error rate (BLER).
Long-storage
acceleration tests demonstrate it is capable of providing more than 100 years of
guaranteed storage. It also has excellent light stability; conforms to the
Orange book, Part II; and provides superior UV and heat resistance.
The
RIDATA dual-layer DVD+R inkjet white and 52x CD-R hub printable inkjet white
optical discs are now available through selected retailers, RIDATA distributors,
and at various online outlets. They feature popular pricing for a wide variety
of quantities.
