Again on DRM...

An article published at myadsl is underlining again how DRM is more annoying for end-consumers than actually protecting against piracy.

Issues are not related only to online purchased music, but also on hardware systems. As already pointed in other news, the new Windows Vista is full of DRM protections that not only slows the computer performance (forcing people to buy more powerful computers even if they do not require at all a more powerful machine), but force also people to spend a lot of money into specific hardware to enjoy high definition contents.

There are already some people trying to find a way to legally abrogate the DRM systems, but there is also another solution: Linux. This free operating system contains no DRM infections.
