Ahead releases updated software versions for Nero [Updated]

DavidW, Team Havoc, Vette XP and a few others all used our news submit to tell us that Ahead has released an update for their burning software. The updated packages are Nero Burning ROM, Nero Vision Express and Nero Media Player. InCD however has not been updated.

Update Package 1 (Nero Burning ROM)
Current version: 6.3.0.3
Release date: February 4th, 2004

Update Package 2 (Nero Vision Express)
Current version: 2.1.0.8
Release date: February 4th, 2004

Update Package 4 (Nero Media Player)
Current version: 1.4.0.18
Release date: February 4th, 2004

  • Added support for new recorders

Bugfixes:

Nero Express

  • Corrected message box in the "Erase Disc" dialog
  • VCD burning on image recorder fail in "preparing items" error message is solved

Nero BackItUp

  • Corrected transfer data calculation algorithm for used sectors backup
