Alcohol software releases Alcohol 120% version 1.9.5.4212

Quinton used our news submit to tell us that a new version of Alcohol 120% is available.  For those new to Alcohol Software, Alcohol 120% is a 1:1 CD and DVD backup and emulation package.  The emulation feature allows one to create images from their discs in order to use these without the wear & tear of loading and unloading discs as well as improve the performance of the software.  Alcohol 52% is an emulation only package, while Alcohol 120% includes the features of Alcohol 52% along with 1:1 CD and DVD copying. 

This new version adds an A.S.S. function for DVD, includes additional support for more devices and fixes several bugs:

  • The DPM extraction engine, for measuring of dual layer DVD disc.

Bug fixes:

  • Virtual drive numbers problem which occurred in some rare cases.
  • Some minor bugs reported by users and beta testers.
  • Device list will be sorted by drive letter now.
  • The wrong data size identification of multi-session DVD+R media.
  • The axcmd.exe blank message dialog problem in Windows 2000.
