So in going along with the FUD story that was posted earlier this week on the news channels, it appears that most of the population thinks that performing copyright infringement is not that big of a deal. Personally I agree with this. Why should copyright infringement be such a big deal anyways? Specially with what is constituted as copyright infringement in some countries (Aussies with their no ripping law for cd's, Americans with the MPAA trying the broadcast flag over and over)
The fact that the MPAA is trying to make it seem that copyrigtht infringment is such a big deal, and we as a collective are seeing that it is nothing but smoke and mirrors, means we might be getting smarter as people. Or it could also mean we are as apathetic as ever when it comes to big business telling us how their wallets are bleeding money, when in fact they are making HUGE profits.
