jellybelly used our news submit to tell us about this latest release from Slysoft software, AnyDVD 4.0.1.1 beta. With this program you can descramble encrypted DVD movies on the fly, without saving them to your hard drive first.
With AnyDVD"s help copy tools like CloneDVD, Pinnacle Instant Copy, InterVideo DVD-Copy, etc. are able to copy CSS protected Movies. With the help of AnyDVD you can watch movies with non matching region codes with every DVD Player Software you like! AnyDVD decrypts not just DVDs: AnyDVD allows you also to play, copy and rip protected Audio CDs! AnyDVD History 4.0.0.0, 2004 09 11 (beta) - The only new, but very important feature: Option to remove "Protection based on unreadable Sectors": If this option is checked, AnyDVD will change the .IFO files on the DVD in a way, that a copy program like Elaborate Bytes" CloneDVD will not try to copy the bad sectors of a DVD copy protection, and will be able to successfully make a copy. This feature will probably not work with other copy programs or with simple file copy, because the bad sectors are still present. You should leave this option unchecked, unless you wish to copy a DVD with CloneDVD.
