Web rumours indicate that Apple will build Blu-ray drives in their new Macs. This means that Apple will outline its high-definition strategy with the support of Blu-ray as opposed to HD DVD, says Technology Research analyst Shaw Wu.
Others say that Apple will play it neutral and because of that will offer both HD DVD and Blu-ray drives. This makes a lot of sense, since this would give the user the choice, but it would also show some sort of trouble making since they are part of the Blu-ray association.
As always, there is no official word from Apple.
