Artec 16x DVD±RW drive with 'SuperLink' background formatting

jan70 used our news submit to tell us about this new recording hardware from Artec. Quickly, we can see that we have an internal DVD+/-RW DualDVD+/-RW Dual 16x 8x 16x DVD+R/RW8x 4x 12x DVD-R/RW48x 24x 48x CD-RW. What may be of interest for discussion, is a feature they are touting as SuperLink. The purpose of which is 'high speed' background formatting. Also, we can see that the drive features V.A.R.S. - Vibration Acoustic Reduction System. It also has a Double Deck Damper Design for noise and absorbing vibration. Better engineered for Air Flotation to reduce temperature. Below are the listed specifications for this model.
