Article in newspaper about sony protected audio CD's

By our newsreporter ewiniyeh...

The quote is in Spanish from an article on Mexican newspaper "La Jornada", the full link to the online story is above (I read the story in the printed newspaper ans its the same version). In short, it says that Sony used an "Austrian protection" on the new CD by popular singer Vicente Fernandez, but the scheme failed miserably as pirated copies were available almost at the same time as the original version. The story doesn't identify the protection used, but goes on saying that its ironic that Sony, which according to the story invented the mp3 format (?) is now suffering the consequences of its invention, and that piracy accounts for 63 percent of audio CD sales in Mexico.
