As we all know, faster and faster CDRW drives are entering the market faster and faster.

Some companies have already been releasing 32x CDRW drives and now Asus followes.

Ofcourse it's nice to have an extremely fast CDRW drive, but since the difference between 16x and 24x was small, and the difference between 24x and 32x is even smaller, I don't see a point in upgrading.

For people buying a new drive because they just have/want to, it may be a good one. Although... Plextor is still on of the most sold drives because of their good reputation and quality.

Will Asus be able to beat them? I don't think so.

Anyhow, competition on the market is always good for the customer, so no bad thing here!
