Internationally well known optical drive manufacturer Behavior
Tech Computer (BTC) has just launched the first product in a line of next
generation DVD rewritable products, the DRW1108UI.
Supporting both DVD-R and DVD+R at the currently highest 8X writing standard,
this drive will surely persuade many end-users into joining the ranks of DVD
writing enthusiasts and is sure to be closely watched by BTC's competitors.


Having been a staunch supporter of both major DVD writing
formats since the beginning, BTC has again chosen to provide dual format
functionality for both DVD+R(W) and DVD-R(W) media in this latest product. Both
recordable formats DVD-R/DVD+R are supported up to 8X, which is currently the
highest industry standard speed for DVD recordables. Both rewritable formats
DVD-RW/DVD+RW are supported up to 4X. Bundled with the popular Ahead Nero
burning software and powerful Cyberlink 3-in-1 DVD applications, the DRW1108UI is
ready for any recording task imaginable.


The BTC DRW1108UI, integrated with the dark black
external case, features embedded the USB 2.0 interface. With powerful MTK
SuperLink Buffer Underrun Error Prevention Technology and Tilt Controlled Laser
Adjusting Technology to produce perfect burns even when poor quality blank media
are used. The in-house developed 7-points suspension system and anti-crash
mechanism ensure high stability and safety during operation under any
circumstances.
