BenQ unveils TB248T slim external combo drive

BenQ further expanded its full line of storage products with the launch of the sleek and uniquely styled BenQ TB248T slim external CD-RW and DVD-ROM combo drive. Complementing any laptop PC, the slim external CD-RW and DVD-ROM combo drive features an elegant exterior that users can carry with them on-the-go.

'While storage products lack the fun and flair typically seen with other consumer electronics, we have made a commitment to making all of our products enjoyable and truly unique through original and inventive industrial design," said Manfred Wang, Director of the BenQ Lifestyle Design Center. 'Incorporating practicality into our product designs, the TB248T is also equipped with an innovatively designed stand that allows it to be placed or stored vertically for maximum convenience."

Sporting a simple yet elegant light blue aluminum casing, the beautifully rounded TB248T will make users see storage products in a different light. For space-saving convenience, the TB248T also comes equipped with a brilliant and refined organic-shaped stand for vertical placement.

Featuring USB 2.0 interface, the TB248T allows 24x speed CD recording and 8x speed DVD-ROM reading. For optimal writing quality, the TB248T also features CD burning technology to prevent buffer under-run.
