The engineers of BenQ and Dee-27 used our news submit to tell us that BenQ has released a new firmware for the DW1620/DW1620 Pro which now supports writing dual layer DVD+R discs at 4 speed.
Besides that, the company has also released a utility called QScan which is able to report TE (Tracing Error) and FE (Focus Error) and suggest the maximum speed to write a disc. On our forums people are already testing the tool and it seems to be very useful for most.
