Can this drive provide consistent quality 16x burns to the newer, high capacity two Layer DVD medias, yet not forget it's roots and still perform well with our old standby, the very inexpensive CD recordables? What about ripping or copying your valuable, but possibly protected, retail discs, will it choke on these?
