CD Freaks presents Memorex F16 (LiteOn SOHW-1633S) review

On the last day of this year Wesociety has wrapped up a review for us of the Memorex F16 DVD recorder (which is actually a rebadged Lite-On SOHW-1633S recorder). As the name of the drive suggest, the Memorex F16 supports up to 16x DVD+R recording speeds. Other speeds the drive supports are 8x for DVD-R, 2.4x for DVD+R DL and 4x for DVD±RW. Here's part of the conclusion:

To sum it all up, this is the best we could say: 'Good when used with Memorex brand recordable media, but questionable writing quality with other media types". If Memorex would have added support for all of the available 16X media on the market and fixed the writing quality problems on other media types, we would have definitely brought out an award for this drive.
