Again our main drive reviewer
Tor Magne better known as OC-Freak has brought up a new drive review. This time he had a
look at the BenQ DW822A DVD. The drive is capable of writing DVD+R at 8x, DVD-R
and DVD+RW at 4x, DVD-RW at 2x, CD-R at 24x and finally CD-RW at 10x. BenQ also
promises to release a new firmware that allows to burn double layer DVD+R at
2.4x when this media becomes available. BenQ expects to release the firmware in
the beginning of Q4/2004
