Today, lets take a look at Samsungs latest Dual Layer internal offering, the TS-H522U. This drive supports 16x DVD±R, 4x DVD±RW and 6x DVD+R DL modes which allows 8.5Gb to be written to the appropriate discs.
Last April, Jan S reviewed Samsungs TS-E552U, which is a quite similar drive, but of course it is an external model. So what he decided to do with this review, was focus on what hopefully, this newer internal drive can do better and to discover what progress has been made in the H522U. For instance, did it overcome the USB-Bridge limitation found in his testing of the E55TU, allowing this TS-H522U to offer us real 16x reading and writing.
