We are glad to present you our newest review: the Verbatim Glossy Printable 16x DVD-R media. Dee-27 and Jan70 have done a great job testing the new photo printable media, generously provided by Verbatim Europe-UK. For the moment, the media is only available in the DVD-R format and is rated at 16x writing speed.
This preview tested the writing quality on multiple DVD writers from different manufacturers, and also the the image quality on the printing side of the media. To accomplish this, the following software was used:
- Nero CD-DVD Speed version 4.50
- KProbe
- Epson Print CD version 1.20E (the Epson R300 printer was used to print the surface of disc)
The conclusion refers that the burning of the media had a good or a very good writing quality, with all these writers:
- BenQ DW1655
- Lite-On SHM-165P6S
- NEC ND-4571A
- Philips DVDR1660
- Pioneer DVR-111
- Plextor PX-760A
