CD Freaks will be down for a couple of hours for a scheduled down time today as we are going to upgrade our database servers to improve the overall loading speed of the site. Due recent floods of new visitors a server upgrade seems to be the only way to improve the overall loading speeds of the newspage and forum. We will also add more backup functionality for redundancy.
Our current database server, an Intel Pentium IV 2.53 Ghz with 1 GB of DDR-RAM and 2 HDD's in RAID 1 will be replaced by a dual Xeon 2.8 Ghz CPU setup accompanied with 2 GB of DDR-RAM and 2 HDD's in RAID 1. The upgrade is planned at 5 PM GMT +01:00. We are sorry for the inconvenience and we hope to be back as soon as possible and faster then before.
