CDRoller 4.00 beta released

CDRoller is a powerful, easy to use and low cost set of Data and Audio CD management utilities integrated into a common intuitive shell as they like to call it. The interface is similar to Windows Explorer which makes it easy to use. Thanks to Gravurecity, who submitted this news, we know version 4.00 of CDRoller is now available.

What's new in the version 4.00?

UDF Reader with extended capabilities to search and recover the lost files released!

Key Features:

Support of all versions of the UDF: OSTA UDF v.1.02, 1.5, 2.0, 2.01 and also UDF Bridge format.
Quick detection of the format type (UDF or ISO 9660) and the version of UDF format implemented.
Reading of closed and open UDF discs, i.e. closed in UDF format or left in "as-is" state by CD mastering software.
Test and analysis of UDF directory structure immediately after insertion of new disc.
Usage of the special methods and algorithms to read the damaged files and folders.
Fully transparent and easy-to-use utility. Being built to the common intuitive shell of CDRoller, UDF reader allows using the same options that are available for ISO 9660 discs, including session selector, folders and files copying, CD Data Rescue, etc.
Tested on the discs recorded by well-known Roxio DirectCD and Ahead Nero packages.
Scan UDF Disc for recovering several types of files, including:
- files are not visible by Windows standard tools the writing process was interrupted by a system or power failure before file directory information was completed, but most or all of the files were written to the CD;
- lost files, i.e. complete files that do not have a file name associated with them. They can also be files that you accidently deleted from the CD;
- files located in unreadable (damaged) folders.
