Joachim used our newssubmit to tell us that on the Philips licensing site we can find the news that CMC Magnetics is the first company to have produced a 24x CD-RW US disc that is within the Orange book Part III volume 3 version 1.0 specifications.
First CD-RW US disc with 24 speed has been confirmed to be within the Specifications of the Orange book Part III volume 3 version 1.0. This disc has been made by CMC Magnetics Corporation in Taiwan. |
Till now Ultra Speed CD-RW media is pretty hard to get, hopefully this new development will change that. Read more here.
