Last February TrekStor announced through a press release that they were going to offer a data recovery service for free. At CeBIT TrekStor unveiled their first hard disk that includes a cost free data recovery service.
TrekStor has developed a professional data recovery service in its own laboratory for these worst case scenarios. Any customer buying a new, appropriately labeled TrekStor DataStation maxi m.ub can take advantage of this service at no cost within 12 months of purchase. To do this, the customer must register himself online via the TrekStor website within 60 days of purchase. If the customer is then unable to access the data on his hard disk, he submits a detailed online error report to help optimize the results of the data recovery process. The hard disk is then sent to the TrekStor lab – the cost and organization of the transport are covered by TrekStor.
For now this service is only available in Germany.
