The Chinese customs seized a cargo of two small vessels that contained 19,800 DVDs, 5.379 million VCDs and 100,000 blank CDs. The vessels appeared on the radar screen of the customs, while weather conditions weren't right for these boats. While the customs send out a boat to search the vessels, they fleed to the international waters of Hong Kong.
An anti-smuggling speedboat was ordered to pursue and detain the two small wooden vessels. As the speedboat approached, the two unidentified vessels attempted to flee into the territorial waters of Hong Kong, but were unable. |
