Good old jellybelly, along withmrdataNY, Mad Burner, D4rk0n3 and even marlowe, used our news submit to tell us that SlySoft is at it again with a pretty substantial release. Adding some handy features such as automatic re-tries of up to 20 times for those that waited a bit too long to try and salvage a disc. However, before we could get this news posted, SlySoft had released another update putting CloneDVD at 2.8.8.2.
Team this software up with AnyDVD for quick and easy backups of all your favorite movies. In addition, the program features a slider bar for precise control of quality and also sports some pretty quick transcoding!

- Change: Mini DVD size is changed to 1.4 GByte (size of 8cm DVD-R media)
- Change: "Filter unreferenced material to improve splitting" has been removed from the preferences pane. This option is now always enabled.

- Sound out of sync problems with incorrectly mastered DVDs
- Quality bar sometimes invisible with incorrectly mastered DVDs
- DVD configuration reported incorrect resolution for NTSC DVDs
