Creative announces 60GB digital music player, Jukebox Zen Xtra

GristyMcFisty has spotted an article over at PC Pro in which we can read that Creative has announced a new addition to their Zen range of portable digital music players. The latest model is called the Jukebox Zen Xtra and has a whopping storage capacity of no less than 60GB. This is enough for 2,000 continuous hours of MP3 or WMA music. It's too bad the Lithium-ion battery will only last up to 14 hours. The price of the Jukebox Zen Xtra is around US$ 590:

A larger, backlit, blue LCD gives an icon-based interface to any music installed, with options to create and edit playlists and manage music files. There is also a four channel graphics equaliser and preset configurations.

The player connects to a PC via USB 2.0 and there is also PC software that will let you drag and drop files to the device. The Creative Jukebox Zen Xtra will be out at the end of the month for Â£349.99 inc VAT.
