DVD Identifier has been updated to version 4.2.0

Kris Schoofs has notified us that his program DVD Identifier has been upgraded once again. The purpose of this software is to help you in the identification of optical media that you purchase. By reading codes present on any media, this software can tell you who has actually manufactured the product. By the way it already works with Blu-ray disc's and he is trying to implement HD-DVD as well.

What's new in this version: 10/23/05

DVD Identifier
V4.2.0

  • Added support for 8x dvd+r dl (double
    layer).

  • Resolved an occasional display problem with the
ascii-section of the 'media code'-block hex dump.

  • Various small
    improvements.

If you find this software of use, then please consider making a donation to it's continued development. In addition, if you are having trouble recording with a certain media or just want to read some discussion on the topic, feel free to visit our Media Forum.
