DVD Region-Free v.1.05 has been released

fengtao used our newssubmit to tell us about an utility called DVD Region-Free which allows you to watch all region DVDs on any DVD drive( especially RPC2 ) even if it has been locked.

DVD Region-Free also disables region check for popular software-based DVD players such as PowerDVD, WinDVD and CinePlayer.



What's New in v.1.05(2002/09/04):

  • Disorderly video problem when a title doesn't have menu fixed.
  • PowerDVD XP freeze problem after playback starts a few seconds fixed.
  • Asynchronous IO mode supported.
  • Notify user to uninstall other region-free software such as "DVD Region Killer".
  • Several small bugs fixed.

    Other features include Region-Free for RCE DVDs, Macrovision-Free, Operation-Free and run self at DVD players startup automatically. More information can be found here.
