Wii game console currently doesn't allow DVD playback (for licensing reasons, of course...), but it seems that this limitation will be overcome soon.
In fact, according to a news published at DaylyTech:
Console cracking group Team Symbiote has released a software player for the Wii, which requires users to have a mod chip installed in the machine.
In order to get the DVD software running, according to Maxconsole, users must burn the application with Clone CD, then run it in a modded Wii.
No info is provided about where to find these chips, nor about prices.
