of DVD movie backup tools. DVDIdle is a software that acts as a read ahead
cache, that saves data from your optical drive to the hard disk, giving your
drive a break. It can also help smooth playback with WinDVD or PowerDVD.

What's new in this
version:
- Cache can be applied to files on
network (Non-DVD) drive, which is very useful for HTPC with wireless
LAN. Thanks jaysee and shurik for the idea and testing. (DVDIdle
Pro)
- Improved the way to simulate bad sectors of Sony ARccOS
protected DVDs for better DVD compatibility.
- Fake but DVD-compatible data will be
given to DVD copy software when copying bad sectors of ARccOS protected
DVDs, so that DVD copy software will accept it as normal data without
problem. No other program do it this way!
Bug Fix:
- DVD Shrink and Nero Recode "out of
memory" problem when copying ARccOS protected DVDs.

- Rearranged Cache options to make it
