Denon comes with first First PAL progressive DVD-Audio/SACD player


Denon, one of the most exclusive audio player brands has announced its latest model the Denon DVD-2900. This new player is the first PAL progressive DVD-Audio/SACD player. DVD-Audio and SACD are two competing formats backed by several different companies and it seems that more companies are currently supporting both formats in their audio equipment. The same is in the DVD recording industry, most companies seem to be releasing dual format recorders instead of picking either DVD minus or DVD plus.

The DVD-2900 is still expensive with its a little below 1500 EURO price, and with that price its no suprise it is targetted to audiophiles. The device contains built-in high-grade DTS and Dolby Digital decoders, a dedicated multi-channel DSD/SACD decoder and a dedicated multi-channel MLP/DVD-Audio decoder and much more.
