software that manages the process of writing large files onto recordable CD or
DVD media. DiscSpanner is designed to be used with any Rimage CD/DVD-R Automated
Publishing System to eliminate the time consuming, error-prone process of
writing large files across multiple discs.
The process of creating disc
sets is easily managed through an easy-to-use interface '“ simply identify a
folder or volume to be written, and DiscSpanner publishes the job. Automated
features include: folder splitting, optional file index; overflow recording from
DVD to CD; and remote job submission to a network-enabled Rimage system. In
addition, DiscSpanner's unattended mode allows job submission via Windows
scheduler. Disc sets can be printed with full color, photo-realistic images of
company logos or other branding images while simultaneously recording large disc
images.
