VSO-Software recently released a tool that submits
information about the burns made with VSO applications. The information is
anonymously sent to the VSO website and the use of it is optional and free. On a
page on the VSO website you can find what kind of information is
collected. Fortunately many VSO customers are using the tool and a lot of
valuable information is gathered.
Unfortunately the numbers of many
measurments are currently still too low to give statically correct information
which is not strange if you imagine the amount of media and
drives currently available. However one type of information is already
stable for a long time and that is the top 5 of brands with the highest success
ratio (meaning the lowest amount of coasters).
