With several major recording packages on the market for CD/DVD recorders such as Nero and Easy CD Creator, it is interesting to see a new package now and again enter the market aiming to compete with these well established companies.  Droppix does appear to be offering as much support as possible through its website including technical support by E-mail, FAQ's and even a support forum.

While software features is the most common way consumers determine which software to go for, the one thing that is enough to put me off software is bad support, for example I got the company I work for to leave Symantec anti-virus (changed to Grisoft AVG) as a result of getting nowhere looking for help on how to recover its license after reinstalling Windows.  Its knowledge base was full of broken links and they demand $ 30 per technical support incident!

Feel free to discuss about Droppix on our Recording Software Forum.  Visit their website here.  A 30-day evalution of Droppix Recorder can be downloaded directly from here.
