Exact Audio Copy 0.95 Beta 1 released

This is
an audio grabber that is registered with a postcard and a stamp. The author
wrote the software because he was wanting a very accurate software that did not
require him to listen to every grabbed wave for quality issues, which to him is
a waste of time. Some of the highlights of this program found on the
authors page are that it uses the Windows 95 and Windows NT ASPI Interface,
it has hidden sector synchronization (jitter
correction) and also features secure, fast
and burst extraction methods that are selectable.

What's new in this version:
5/10/05

It took quite some time
until this new version but I had to write my diploma thesis
inbetween...
Stability should have greatly improved and there are some
nice new features and some options people have requested. As a new
additional feature there is now the possibility to use CDRDAO for writing
CDs from EACs layout editor (like burnatonce), hope this will improve
compatibility with most writers. Again, read more in the "News.rtf"
file.
There is an archive with only EAC and a second one that also
includes the CDRDAO package for easy download. In a few days, if
everything works out, there will be also an windows installer package to
make installation as easy as possible for beginners.

If you would like to give this program a try, here is the page where you can
find a link to the download.
If you need help with the EAC software or
when you want to talk with others about your experiences, then please drop
by our Audio Forum. In fact, there is a
thread already started
here by rockerduck.
