Exeem servers hit Overload

rudiedude used our news submit to tell us that the BitTorrent service Exeem seems to going up and up in popularity. The Exeem P2P software has been downloaded over 1 million times making it one of the fastest P2P programs on the net. With the services growth the Exeem service has experienced down times and the service is being upgraded to resolve these issues.

With the closure of many BitTorrent sites by the MPAA and RIAA it seems the Exeem P2P service is now taking advantage of this with the increased amount of users and traffic on its network.

Although fixes were made to the network (fixes that should have prevented network downtimes), it appears now, that those fixes were unsucessful. We are working on an update, that should fix the problem once and for all and we will be releasing it soon in version 0.22. along with few other fixes.

Since closing down bittorrent sites just makes people go elsewhere in a never ending circle.
