phoenix used our newssubmit to tell us that a new version of Fantom CD has been released. Fantom CD is software that reads CDs and runs programs without the original CD by creating virtual CD-ROM drives on the hard disk using software methods

What's new:
Added "Ignore Media Type" option. (This option will force all software to ignore whether the disc is CD-R or CD-RW, allowing it to be recognized as CD-ROM.)
Added DVD device and disc region code identification in CD/DVD Manager.
Added 2336 block size for unsupported image file format.
Added support for Plextor PX-4012TA, AOpen CRW3248, RICHO MP5125A and other 24x, 32x and 40x recorders.
Problems Fixed:
Fixed multi-recorder selection problems.
The recording progress has been sped up.
Enhanced the auto-identification ability for unsupported images.
Fix the ISO file identifing error. (Nero file (NRG) is not really an ISO file.)
