FarStone inks deal to have its software to ship with Intel motherboards

FarStone
has issued a press release in which it is announcing an agreement with Intel.
Intel will now ship FarStone's RestoreIT, Virtualdrive and GameDrive software
with its mainboards.RestoreIT can be used to backup and recover data and also
includes lost file recovery

FarStone's
VirtualDrive and GameDrive allow users to create multiple virtual
CD/DVD-ROM drives and virtual images of their CD's and DVD's onto their
hard drive, enabling them to access their content and even play their PC games
directly from the hard drive without the use of the physical CD/DVD-ROM drive or
the actual disc.

"Shipping as part of Intel's digital home/digital
office initiative demonstrates the value of our security and utility
offerings and underscores the market demand for these solutions," said Tom
Fedro, vice president, sales and marketing, FarStone. "Intel recognizes
the need for easy-to-use, safe and more secure backup solutions. As an
even wider range of users experience the benefits of FarStone technology,
we are accomplishing our goal of becoming the de facto standard in
securely managing and optimizing digital content."

The software can be found with mainboards based on the upcoming Intel 945 and
955 chipsets. More information can be found in the press release. Discuss this in our General
