ViRuS2k used our newssubmit to tell us that the first (?) translation of the new ClonyXXL version can be found online. The translation was done in French so we'll still have to wait for an English version (but at least we now know it's possible to translate it!).

Less than one week after the exclusive German release of ClonyXXL version 2.0.1.0, here's a French version!
Some techniques were implemented by the author of ClonyXXL to prevent modifying the program (and thus to translate it). The program was translated by using a hexadecimal editor. Some words could not be perfectly translated because it was necessary to juggle with the words in order to translate the German to French.
Downloads to this French ClonyXXL version can be found here. You can also find a link there to the ClonyXXL 'CloneCD Profiler' program including a warning message that the tool doesn't work very well under Windows XP.
