People who are experienced in burning
CDs, and let's face it; those of you who are a CD
Freaks Member will without a doubt be an experienced burner, will know that there are some CD-R manufacturers who make quality media while some make media of less quality.
One of these quality manufacturers is the Taiyo Yuden (TY) company. TY sells their discs under their own brand and to many other companies, who then re-label the discs and sell them under their own brand. Fuji is one these companies who use TY media and sell them under the Fuji brand.
Unfortunately it seems that Fuji America has now switched suppliers and is offering media produced by CMC Magnetics, a company that makes average quality media. So, why are we reporting this? Well to warn those of you who buy Fuji media and expect the discs to be manufactured by TY.
