Again spyware,Think this is getting out of control..
After installing gamespy arcade to play Operation Flashpoint, (Codemasters) my firewall picked up on an outbound connection from my machine by an application identified as WHAGENT.exe. A quick research on Google search engine revealed that it was part of a spyware package embedded into your Gamespy Software. It came from a company called webHancer that secretly loads their snooping program onto your computer when you click on the webpage of one of their clients. |
'WebHancer is a viscious spyware program that is extremely difficult to remove from the computer system. All communications are piped through WebHancer, and if the nasty program is simply deleted from the registry and the WebHancer folder, all communications with the Internet will be lost. If the registry was not backed-up, the victim must do a total re-install of Windows (total, as in wipe out everything).
