When asked about the increasing cost pressure Gigabyte faces in developing mature system products, Ma said that Gigabyte has responded to the problem by outsourcing production. Gigabyte's optical drives are manufactured by Lite-On Group while its notebooks are designed by Intel and produced by First International Computer (FIC). |
