In a new executive order, California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger says "certain peer-to-peer file-sharing software on state computers presents a significant security risk" and such programs "consume network resources, which may reduce the performance of state computer systems." So in light of that, the Governor signed a new executive order today prohibiting the use of the states resources for illegal file sharing.
This seems to be a good measure and his argument makes sense. At least there is no need for such activity in government offices. What do you think?
