IBM's new superharddrive

Webwereld reports abot a new technique developed by IBM. This technique makes it possible to increase the data density of a harddrive by 4 times. That means that harddrives, much bigger as we know them will be for real. This wasn't what scientists expected. They expected that sometime (near) we'd reach the maximum capacity for the type of harddrives we know by now.

Ofcourse this development is a good thing. Imagine, a 400Gb harddrive in your PC. And a 200Gb in your laptop. That can hold quite some ISO's, MP3's and DiVX's....
