I/OMagic launches MediaStation DVD recorder with 7-n-1 media reader

I/OMagic in which the company announces their MediaStation drive. The
MediaStation is an external (USB 2.0) 4x dual-format DVD recorder that
has a built-in 7-n-1 media reader. The drive is shipped with the Pinnacle
Instant CD/DVD 8 SE software and will have an introductory price of US$
299.99:

The MediaStation Dual 4X DVD+/-RW
External USB 2.0 drive with 7-n-1 Media Reader writes DVD+R and DVD-R at
4X, DVD+RW at 2.4X, DVD-RW at 2X, CD-R at 24X, CD-RW at 10X and reads
CD-ROMs at 40X. It also includes the award-winning Pinnacle Studio 8 SE
video editing software, Pinnacle Instant CD/DVD SE disc burning suite and
Pinnacle Expression software. These Pinnacle products empower users to
create and edit home movies, burn DVDs and CDs in all popular formats, as
well as watch and store home movies, photos and MP3s on either DVD or CD
discs.

Additional features include a proprietary
design with a three-way adjustable lighting system, the ability to play
DVD titles and DVD games, and an integrated media reader that supports
seven different types of flash media including: Compact Flash (CF), IBM
Micro Drive, Multimedia (MMC), Secure Digital (SD), Memory Stick, Memory
Stick Pro (MS) and Smart Media (SM).
