InterVideo DVD SlideShow Launched as Ideal
Companion for Digital Cameras and Camera-Phones; 3 Easy Steps to Produce and
Burn an Entertaining Slideshow CD/DVD

FREMONT, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 14,
2004--InterVideo, Inc. (Nasdaq:IVII) announced today InterVideo DVD
SlideShow(TM), a new software solution that lets users organize, author and burn
digital photo albums to CDs and DVDs in just three easy steps. Featuring a
wizard-like interface, embedded editing tools, over 25 menu templates and
integrated burning software, InterVideo DVD SlideShow quickly turns ordinary
digital photos into professional-looking multimedia shows that can be viewed on
a TV or a computer equipped with a CD or DVD player.

With the ability to add text, music, and narrations in seconds, the new
software will appeal to consumers who want to quickly share photos with family
and friends; to businesses that want a fast way to create impressive virtual
tours, product presentations and educational materials; and to professionals
such as photographers and real estate agents who focus on providing new product
information to their clients as soon as possible. By including embedded photo
editing tools plus support for undo/redo, zoom-in, zoom-out and real-time
previewing, users can focus on their creativity rather than the software.

"Consumers and businesses have been quick to adopt digital cameras because
they can immediately see the photo they've just taken," said Jon Peddie,
president of Jon Peddie Research, a leading graphics and multimedia consultancy.
"Instant availability is one of the key reasons worldwide digital camera
shipments are expected to surpass 50 million in 2004, and worldwide camera-phone
sales will be even higher at 90 million in 2004. They all represent a ready
market for InterVideo's DVD SlideShow because they all want an easy way to
organize their photos and make them look professional without spending a lot of
time doing it."

With DVD SlideShow, users are just three steps away from creating slideshows
they'll be proud to share.

Step 1: Album Organization -- Photos, and even video frames, can be grouped
into a single photo album or multiple photo albums -- each with its own
thumbnail preview. With the embedded editing tools that are included with the
software, users can also crop, resize and rotate their photos, remove red eyes,
adjust the contrast, balance the color, and add descriptions or titles to each
slide.

Step 2: Select a Menu -- To simplify the development of menus that enable
slideshow navigation with a TV remote control or a computer mouse, InterVideo
DVD SlideShow includes over 25 professionally designed menu templates with
support for background music. Menu backgrounds can be customized with photos and
illustrations to create a personalized look for each slideshow.

Step 3: Burn to Disc or Hard Disk -- With InterVideo DVD SlideShow, burning a
slideshow to disc is simplified because the software automatically detects the
user's CD or DVD burner and supports the DVD, VCD, and DVD on CD formats. Users
can also save photo albums to their computer HD.

InterVideo DVD SlideShow is currently available in Japan with a suggested
retail price of 5800 Yen. InterVideo DVD SlideShow is compatible with Windows(R)
