Kano Technologies intros industry's broadest line of CD and DVD Duplicators

GARDEN GROVE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 7,
2003--Kano Technologies has introduced two new families of CD and DVD duplicator
systems: the ATLAS CD-R series and the K2XTREME DVD+R series. Kano now offers
the broadest line of CD and DVD duplicator systems in the industry.

The ATLAS CD-R series includes one-, four- and
seven-drive, high-performance, stand-alone CD-R towers. ATLAS duplicators enable
bit-by-bit copying of a master disc to multiple CD-Rs. With the optional 40GB
hard drive, an ATLAS system can copy and store up to 22 master disc images for
multiple copying. The seven-drive model copies up to seven 650MB CDs in five
minutes. No PC or software is required; an LCD panel guides the user through
simple set-up and operation procedures. All ATLAS duplicators feature Lite-On
52x CD-R drives and support all popular standard formats, including CD-ROM,
Photo-CD, CD-I, VCD, CD-DA, CD-G, Multi-Session and CD-Plus.

The Kano K2XTREME DVD+R duplicators are the most
versatile duplicators available for copying discs in the new DVD+R format, as
well as all of the popular CD-R formats. The K2XTREME line includes one-, four-
and seven-drive, high-performance recorders. The duplicators provide bit-by-bit
copies to multiple DVD+R or CD-R discs at 2.4X DVD+R or 12X CD-R recording
speeds. An internal 40GB hard drive stores up to seven master DVD disc images or
22 master CD images. K2XTREME duplicators feature Ricoh model RW5125 DVD+RW
drives.

Both duplicators feature custom-designed,
industrial enclosures created just for Kano's ATLAS and K2XTREME systems. The
exclusive design minimizes vibrations and dust infiltration. Each chassis has
high-volume, low-noise fan ventilation engineered to maintain optimum operating
temperature for maximum drive life and dependability. All enclosures are
CE-certified and UL-approved.

Pricing for the ATLAS family starts at $399. For
the K2XTREME family, pricing starts at $999. These products are available now
from D&H Distributing (www.dandh.com).
